Trump Signs Executive Order Endangering Jews

Donald Trump signed an Executive Order that he claimed would fight antisemitism. In reality, this Executive Order used Jews as an excuse to crack down on free speech and anti-authoritarian activism. It was also written to root the definition of antisemitism in criticism of Israel. Setting Jews up to take the blame for attacks on American freedoms, as this Executive Order did, endangers Jews.

Notably, this Executive Order came right after one of Trump’s most antisemitic speeches to date, in which he called Jews “not nice people” and “brutal killers,” before falsely claiming that Jews vote to protect Jewish wealth above all else.
