UMaine College Republicans Align with Holocaust Denier Nick Fuentes and White Nationalist Michelle Malkin

The University of Maine College Republicans lost their faculty advisor after refusing to cut ties with Holocaust Denier Nick Fuentes and white nationalist Michelle Malkin. The student Republican group invited Malkin to speak on campus. After learning of Malkin’s extensive history of white nationalist statements and her close ties to Nick Fuentes, the group’s faculty advisor, Jewish Professor Amy Fried, formally stepped down as their advisor. In response, the UMaine College Republicans doubled down and further asserted their support for both Malkin and Fuentes.

Months later, the student group later secured a location for the event featuring Malkin off-campus, with the support of Republican Congressional candidate Adrienne Bennett.
