Trump Campaign Sends An Antisemitic Fundraising Text...Again.

On October 18, 2020, The Trump campaign sent a mass text to its list, warning: “It’s US vs the Fake News, DC SWAMP, Deep State, & Hollywood Elites.” On October 25, the campaign sent that exact same mass text again.

The Trump campaign has referenced “Hollywood Elite” in campaign materials before, including in a campaign text from early September. “Hollywood” has long been used as euphemisms for Jews, stemming from the antisemitic trope that ‘Jews own the media.’ These tropes continue to be spread by far-right figures, including by Laura Loomer, who is a Florida Republican nominee for U.S. Congress.
